CHAPTER 721, F.S - FLORIDA VACATION PLAN AND TIMESHARING ACT

Narrow scope of special condominiums or special parts of condominiums.


CHAPTER 718 - THE CONDOMINIUM ACT

Condominiums are created operated, regulated, terminated, and exist by the standards established by Chapter 718 of the Florida Statues.

Overrides local ordinances that attempt to modify or regulate the form of condominium ownership or the procedures that govern a condominium association and its operation.

CHAPTER 617 - FLORIDA NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION

Outlines the provisions that must be included in the articles of a not-for-profit corporation. These requirements include the manner in which the articles can be amended, the purpose, and the limits on authority of the corporation.

Lists the full authority of corporate powers, (ex. operations, management, borrowing funds and mortgaging of association property)
